From Farm to Fork

Once again inspired by the Dinner for 2018 organised in Leeuwarden, the idea of sharing culinary traditions will be at the forefront of this activity. MCAST students following the Food Technology programme at the Institute for Applied Sciences and the Institute of Agri Business will team up to work on a set of traditional Maltese recipes using local produce. The fulcrum of the activity will see these students travel to the Netherlands to share a number of traditional recipes with their Dutch counterparts with the aim of having a taste of Malta served at the grand Dinner for 2018. The Dutch students will not only get a taste of Maltese food, but they will also learn how to prepare a few recipes in the process! Surely there is no better way of sharing culinary traditions!
