Water Treatment Set Up – Leeuwarden – Valletta 2018

Water Treatment Set Up

As part of the Sustaining Sustainability Output (O1), a Dutch lecturer specialising in water treatment will design and deliver an intensive training programme aimed at MCAST Applied Sciences staff and students. Using commonly found materials such as buckets, aeration pumps and plastic bottles one can produce a home-made set up for the treatment of water. This will lead to the upgrade of current MCAST micro water treatment facilities.

Training on how to actually set up this micro water treatment facility will be aimed at MCAST Teaching Staff and Lab Technicians, whereas students will be trained on (a) micro water treatment and its analysis and (b) how to use the home-made water treatment set up in their experimental and research work.
